Refund and Returns Policy

Overview
At Silk Mite, we strive to provide you with a positive shopping experience. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Our return and refund policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.


Eligibility for Return
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition as when you received it.
  • The item must be in its original packaging, including any tags or labels.
  • You must provide proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or receipt.

Please note that there are some items that cannot be returned:

  • Intimate Apparel & Lingerie (for hygiene reasons)
  • Sale or Discounted Items
  • Gift Cards
  • Items marked as “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Health and personal care items (such as body care products, perfumes, etc.)
  • Items that are damaged or missing parts not due to our error

Partial Refunds
In some cases, we may only offer partial refunds. This applies to items that are:

  • Not in their original condition (such as signs of use, or damage caused by the customer).
  • Returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Missing parts, or incomplete for reasons not caused by us.

Refund Process
Once we receive your returned item and inspect its condition, we will send you an email confirming whether your return is approved or rejected.

  • If your return is approved, we will process your refund. The amount will be credited to your original method of payment (such as your credit card or PayPal account) within a certain number of days, depending on your payment provider.
  • If your return is rejected, we will notify you via email.

Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund after the processing time, please follow these steps:

  1. Check your bank or credit card account again to see if the refund has been posted.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take time for the refund to appear.
  3. Contact your bank to inquire about any delays in processing the refund.

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale or discounted items cannot be refunded.


Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you wish to exchange a product for the same item, please contact us at support@silkmite.com and send the item to the following address:

Gifts
If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the return. Once the returned item is received, we will issue a gift certificate to the recipient.

If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method, and the gift giver will be notified of the return.
